New Features and Capabilities - launching May 27th
Online Queuing
The Notes field in the Online Queuing screen can now be configured to be required, optional or hidden.
Look for the new setting under Lobby Management settings
Data Management
After a thorough Beta release (thanks for those of you who participated), Our new data management tool will be available for general availability with this release. With this new tool, Admins will be able to manage their data (staff, services, assignments, locations) in Coconut in bulk by exporting or importing CSV files.
This new tool has been created with these general themes in mind:
You are new to Coconut and would like a quick and efficient way to input information for all staff, locations, services and assignments into the system.
Or if you have existing data in Coconut and would like to make bulk changes to those same data types. Common examples from requests we’ve had are:
a new service is added to your offering and you’d like to assign it to a good portion of the staff members in Coconut
there was a wave of hiring and you now have a group of new staff members to add into the system
you’d like a broader view of the data in Coconut so you can make changes for consistency around job titles or location names or missing information
Contact Centre
Admins can now determine the access that Contact Centre role users have to various resources based on that resource’s visibility level. Access to these resources in the Contact Centre was previously available by contacting our team. If you previously set up access to these resources through our team those settings were preserved with the introduction of this settings page.
A new admin settings menu is available called "Contact Center”. From the new menu section you will be able to control the visibility for Staff, Locations, and Services inside the Contact Center. If the setting is on, the resource appears in the contact centre and when turned off the resource does not appear in the Contact Center
Modern Client View
Admins now have more control over how staff information is displayed on the Client View.
Admins can choose to display the staff member’s full last name or only the first initial of their last name.
Admins can choose to show or hide staff job titles.
By default, the staff’s full last name and job title will be displayed.
Schedule
Admins can now delete external absences from the schedule. For example: if a staff user has an Exchange calendar event in Coconut that was removed from Exchange but did not disappear from their Coconut schedule (orphaned Exchange event), an Admin can now delete this.

Lobby TV URLs
We are now giving you more control over securing the URLs that get displayed on the TVs in your Lobby. If you choose to secure the URLs, you’ll have the ability to create and refresh at any point a secure token that will need to be included in the URL for the Lobby TV to be able to display the activity inside your lobby.
