This month's release is filled with some really exciting enhancements for your customers, members and staff—including a few reporting updates we know your team will love.

Before we dive in, here's a glimpse of what we'll be rolling out before May is over:

A heads up that we'll be making some changes to our reporting fields in June that may impact customers who are using a BI tool integration. Our CSM team will be reaching out with more details.

Appointment scheduling updates

Missed appointment notification settings

Admins can choose whether or not they'd like to include a link to book another appointment within your missed appointment notifications—which are sent once staff mark them as a no show. This enhancement makes it even easier for members/customers to reschedule their appointment.

You can enable this setting by heading over to the Settings>Notifications>Clients>Missed Notifications section within Coconut.

Booking shortcuts enhancement

You can currently configure booking shortcuts by staff category, which only allows customers/members who use this link to book an appointment with staff who belong to that category. With this release, you can choose how you want the staff list to be ordered during the booking flow, which allows you to highlight a specific staff member at the top of the list.

This new setting will automatically be enabled for all customers who are using booking shortcuts.

Contact center view enhancement

With our latest release, you'll be able to add staff categories for contact center users as well. If you've grouped your staff into categories, these categories will be shown inside the contact center view to help your agents quickly find the staff member best suited to help your customer/member.

This enhancement will automatically be enabled for customers who are using our contact center add-on.

Lobby management updates

Updated lobby kiosk page

We’ve given our lobby kiosk web application a refresh, with an improved layout that looks consistent whether your kiosk display has a landscape or portrait orientation.

These new updates will be rolled out automatically to anyone using our new web-based lobby kiosk application. If you have any questions please reach out to your CSM.

New report templates

You’ll now have the ability to create your own custom report templates and save them in your reporting dashboard. These new templates will make it easier for you to access reports that your team regularly runs. To build your own report templates head over to the Reports section.

This feature will be automatically be enabled for all Coconut customers.

Refined custom report fields

A heads up in June we’ll be making some updates to the fields available in your custom reports. The goal of these updates is to consolidate data, clarify duplicate fields and provide a better experience for business analysts and data teams.

Note: This could potentially impact the order and number of columns in any custom report that is generated. Further details and timing will be shared by your CSM in the coming weeks.

**Update: to allow additional time for customers to prepare for this change, we're pushing out our reporting field updates to August.
