We’re back with more exciting updates from our Product, Engineering and Design teams this month. Here’s a glimpse of what we’ll be rolling out before October is over.
Ability for customers to update their meeting method before their appointment
Automatic next in line notifications to help you easily manage your lobby queue
Enhanced feedback collection form that encourages clients to leave a Google Review
Improvements to booking shortcuts to give clients more flexibility
Few other honorable mentions including our new Lobby API
We’ll be looking for customers to help us test out our new Coconut Connect and appointment scheduling integration. If you’d like to be considered, make sure you’re a part of our beta program.
Meeting Methods
Clients can now change how they’d like to attend an upcoming appointment on their confirmation page. If they choose to update their meeting method we’ll show them other options the staff member they’re meeting with offers at that time for the service they’ve requested.
Automatic next in line notifications
We’ve made it even easier for you to manage your lobby queue with new, automatic next in line notifications. Instead of manually sending a notification to your clients to let them know they’re next in line at your branch, you can now send them automatically to save time and effort. To turn these notifications on, head over to the Notifications>Client section in Coconut.
Google Reviews
Google Reviews are a great way to attract new prospects. Now you can drive even more of them by encouraging clients to leave a review in your feedback collection form. Once they’ve submitted their feedback through Coconut, we’ll encourage them to leave a Google Review to share their experience. If you’d like to enable this feature, please contact your CSM.
Booking shortcut improvements
Booking shortcuts are a great way for clients to book time with a specific staff member, or at a certain location. But, schedules don’t always align. Clients who book their appointments through a booking shortcut will now have the flexibility to book time with another staff member, or at another location if they can’t find a time that works with the staff or at the location indicated in the shortcut.
Other features and improvements
Ad tracking pixels: if you’re currently using Facebook or Google Ad tracking pixels throughout your Coconut booking flow, you’ll be able to track and manage these pixels in Google Tag Manager.
Service search: if there are more than 20 services to choose from when a client is booking an appointment, a search bar will appear to help them find the service they’re looking for faster.
Multi-staff appointments syncing with Exchange: if you offer multi-staff appointments, we’ll now automatically sync the calendars of all staff involved with Exchange.
Kiosk enhancements: we're turning our Kiosk app into a browser-based application that can run on any device, not just on iOS devices. If you'd like to try it out, please contact your CSM.
Data platform updates: we've been hard at work to give you more power to extract data out of Coconut. You can now use our authenticated APIs to retrieve lobby appointment data from our system. And we're just getting started. We'll be rolling out additional improvements to the amount of data you can extract via a custom report, and allowing you to include lobby appointment data in these reports. Contact your CSM if you would like to try out these new enhancements.
