Before we dive into our updates for the month, we wanted to share a few new resources that we know your team will love.
Video banking playbook: check out our step-by-step guide for video appointment success. We’ll walk you through how to implement video at your institution—or improve your existing video strategy—with helpful advice from other Coconut customers.
Video banking webinar: we’ve partnered with CBANC to present a free webinar on the five elements of a successful video banking strategy. Register to join us on July 22 from 2:00 - 3:00 EST.
Now, on to our updates for this month. Here’s a preview of what we’ll be rolling out before the end of the month:
Booking shortcuts improvements to give you even more control of your member or customer experience
Exchange improvements to capture meeting invite history
Updated kiosk web application font colors
DocuSign integration with Coconut Connect to capture e-signatures directly within a Coconut Connect session
Sneak peek of our workflows early access program, launching later this month
Appointments
Booking through shortcuts: As an admin, you can now force your customers or members to only book through shortcuts (vs being able to book through both shortcuts and organically when navigating to your appointment booking flow). This change will give you more control over your member or customer experience. You can enable this setting under Settings->General->Client View->Booking Shortcuts.
Accepting a calendar event: when your staff, customers or members book an appointment, they may forward that calendar invite to others they’d like to include in that appointment (or add them as an attendee to the calendar invite). We’re adding a setting that allows you to control whether someone who accepts a forwarded invite should be added to the appointment as an attendee. You can find this setting under Settings->Notifications->Clients->Email Content.
Exchange event details: when an appointment is synced between Coconut and your Exchange servers, any existing clients on the appointment are currently displayed in the event details. In this release, we are also adding the names of the clients who might’ve been added at some point but declined the appointment so that you have a full picture of who will and who won’t be there.
All of these new enhancements will be automatically enabled for all Coconut customers.
Lobby
Kiosk web application colors
The font color on the kiosk has historically been set to white as a default, which doesn’t always work for every brand. In this release, we’ll take into account the brand colors you’ve included in your client and admin view settings, and we’ll automatically choose white or black font, depending on what’s most appropriate for your settings.
This enhancement will automatically be enabled for all customers who use our lobby product.
Coconut Connect
After our exciting June launch of our video banking product, Coconut Connect, we’re continuing to roll out new enhancements, most notably our new DocuSign integration.
DocuSign integration
Staff will be able to kick off a signing ceremony and capture an e-signature using their existing DocuSign account directly within a Connect video call leveraging our latest integration. If you’d like to see a demo of this new feature or learn more about Coconut Connect, please reach out to your CSM.
Verification status
Once a customer or member’s identity has been verified, staff currently see a badge appear within the call screen. Now, the verification status will be captured within your Coconut dashboard.
Audio notifications
To ensure that all participants are aware of important events that happen within a video call—like when a participant times out, someone requests access, another participant joins the call, or there’s a new chat message—we’ve rolled out audio notifications.
Transcripts
Your team can view and download audio transcripts from any call hosted in Connect for your audit records. It also allows you to spot coaching opportunities for staff who host video calls.
Platform updates
Workflows Early Access Program
A reminder that we’ll be opening up a new early access program for a limited number of customers this month, to gather feedback on our new workflows feature. Workflows will allow you pull together multiple engagements with the same client into a single view. If you’d like to learn more about our EAP, please reach out to your CSM for more details.
