February - a short, yet robust month filled with themes celebrating diversity, family and love. With our latest product updates you’ll have even more reasons to celebrate.
Our team at Coconut Software continues to create innovative ways to make the overall customer experience an easy and reassuring one. This month we put an emphasis on protecting valuable information with Exchange user migrations, as well as improving on the overall customer experience with the Lobby View and Staff Dashboard.
Speaking of new developments, be sure to register for our Product Roadmap webinar on Feb. 17th. We’ll be expanding on what we’re working on in Q1 as well as our plans for Q2 and beyond.
Our Humanizing Banking campaign continues with some excellent thought leadership, helpful webinars and case studies of banks and credit unions that are showing how an improved customer experience helps drive growth. We recently presented at a Future Branches event on Jan. 27th, as well as will be participating in the upcoming American Banker Association Community Bank summit and the NAFCU Strategic Growth summit.
Lastly, for those of you that are interested in trying out our multiple staff appointments feature (multiple staff from your organization can schedule and host a meeting seamlessly) - please join the Beta program and contact your CSM for more information.
Take care!
Your Coconut Team

New Features and Capabilities - launching Feb. 25th
New Location selector for Lobby View and Staff Dashboard
We recently introduced a new dropdown location selector for the Schedule. Based on mountains of positive feedback we are bringing a similar experience to the Lobby View and Staff Dashboard.
For the lobby view and staff dashboard we will ensure that the recent location functionality that exists today is included in this new selector.
Options for Wait Time Calculations in Lobby & Visitor Management
Admin users will be able to choose if they want wait time to be calculated based on service duration (current option), or by historical average handle time (new option).
Admins can select which wait time calculation option from the settings page.
Calculating wait time based on historical average handle time should provide more accurate walk-in wait times for some customers who use service duration as a maximum duration rather than a typical duration.
Easier User Migrations from Exchange Services
Admins now have the tools they need to migrate users from one Exchange service account to another - giving more control, more flexibility and reducing risk. Migrating users in waves and fallback options are both available. We would encourage testing a user on the new service account before removing them from the previous one.
Zoom Integration
The Zoom integration is now ready for beta testing as a part of our beta program!
Similar to our Microsoft Teams integration, admins can set up the integration on behalf of all staff in Coconut by authenticating with Zoom.
Once up and running, this integration automatically creates video meetings within Zoom when appointments are booked through any Coconut channel. The corresponding meeting links are dynamically generated for each appointment and automatically included with customer notifications, eliminating the manual creation of new links. This will be helpful as the links are always unique - no client can show up early and join an existing meeting.
After launching to a few clients via our Beta program, we plan to rapidly address feedback and make this functionality available for all customers with Phone & Video Appointments.
Phone and Video Meetings
The link to join a video call on the confirmation page of the Modern Client View is now formatted as a button.
Additional video call information is now displayed on the Modern Client View Confirmation page if any information has been entered in the Staff Profile.
Reserve with Google
We now allow customers to show different “Additional Information” in Reserve with Google from what they currently display on the Modern Client View.
This is available in the “Compliance Information” section of the Client View settings page in Coconut.
This will appear in Reserve with Google as a “note” during the booking process.
Quick Stream
The Schedule Week View currently shows the open/closed times on each day as reflected by actual Quick Stream availability rather than hours. Based on customer feedback we have now brought this to each column on the Day View of the schedule as well.
Modern Client View
We now sort the staff list on the Client View according to the sort order determined by the Staff list in the staff facing view of Coconut.
Improvements
Improved the overall performance of Coconut by changing the way we load some of our assets
Reserve with Google
Improved the overall performance of Reserve with Google for certain customers with extremely high amounts of availability.
Schedule
Improved the experience for a staff member who is viewing a location on the schedule as that location is archived by another user.
Hours
Improved the use of split times and overrides in hours adjustments. These features were never meant to be compatible with each other but could unintentionally be used together. When used together these features can cause issues with availability. We have made some changes to the adjustments modal to stop these features from being used together.

Fixed an issue in the Contact Center that caused the client information modal to be populated with the wrong attendee information
Fixed an issue with the schedule date picker where it would not update the highlighted date when using the back and forward buttons
Fixed an issue where the Contact Center would display a loading state perpetually if the user had no location/service assignments
