Common Questions

Any recommendations for auto roll-over certificate renewal for Coconut Calendar?

Coconut recommends:

  • The SSO certificate is sent in advance in xml format to better prepare for the certificate renewal

  • That the roll over date and time for the procedure is advised

  • The certificate renewal is done after hours to minimize any service disruptions for your users

Does Coconut Software pickup certificate changes automatically?

Not at this time. Coconut requires the manual certificates to apply changes.

Does Coconut Software support 2 token-signing/token-decrypting certificates at the same time?

No, Coconut currently does not support 2 token-signing/token-decrypting certificates at the same time.

Does Coconut Software consume federation metadata automatically?

Due to privacy and security concerns, we do not pull this information automatically. Please reach out to your Customer Success contact to initiate a manual process for this. You will need to provide us with the SSO certificate to upload this manually.

Why am I receiving a CSRF Token Mismatch error?

What does CSRF mean?

CSRF is an abbreviation of Cross-site request forgery, which is also known as one-click attack or session riding. This is a type of attack on a website where unauthorized commands are transmitted from a user that the web application trusts, and occurs during state-changing requests.

What is a CSRF Token Mismatch error?

A CSRF Token Mismatch error simply means that your browser could not create a secure cookie, or could not access that cookie to authorize your login. This can be caused by ad- or script-blocking plugins, but also by the browser itself if it's not allowed to set cookies. It can also occur when the page has been opened for an extended period of time causing the token to expire.

The CSRF Token Mismatch error appears at the top of the notifications page in Coconut
