Objective
Integrate Microsoft® Exchange with Coconut to provide staff members with the ability to sync and view appointments in either application.
This article provides an overview of the Events Tab in the Microsoft® Exchange Integration with Coconut. The Events tab enables admins to monitor the current status of events syncing between Coconut and Microsoft® Exchange.
Navigate the Events Tab
Access
To access the Events Tab:
From the navigation menu, click Settings
From Integrations & API, click Microsoft Exchange
Click Events to be directed to the events tab
The Events tab displays. It is separated into two sections: Quick Stats tiles and the Event Details table.
The Events tab includes Quick Stats tiles to indicate the status of various events, as well as an Event Details table
Quick Stats
Quick Stats display in tile format for each possible event status: Successful, In Progress, Scheduled, Warnings, and Failed
Successful
The number in this tile reflects the number of events that have been successfully synced.
In Progress
The number in this tile reflects the number of events that are currently syncing between Coconut and Exchange.
Scheduled
The number in this tile reflects the number of events that are scheduled to begin syncing between Coconut and Exchange when the next sync job runs.
Warnings
The number in this tile reflects the number of events that have successfully synced, but with a warning noted from Exchange. Each individual event will provide more details about the specific warning received.
Failed
The number in this tile reflects the number of events that encountered errors during the sync process. These events are not synced.
Display Events by Quick Stat
Click the Quick Stat tile to filter the Event Details table and display only events related to that Quick Stat (Successful, In Progress, Scheduled, Warnings, or Failed).
NOTE: Only one Quick Stat tile can be selected and displayed at one time.
Event Details
The Event Details table, by default, displays all calendar events based on the Last 7 Days. To change the time frame, click the Last 7 Days dropdown and make your desired selection.
NOTE: Coconut uses the location’s timezone for the event’s time. If no timezone is configured, UTC is used.
Filter or Search Events
To filter or search events:
From the Event Details table, click the Filter list icon
The Filters menu displays; from here, you can:
Click one or more statuses to filter by that status
Select an alternative time frame for the range of events that will display
Enter a user’s name/email to search for events related to a specific user
NOTE: Both active and archived users can be searched
Click Clear All Filters to reset the Event Details table
Filter the events that display by status or time period and search for events related to specific users from Filters
Hot Tip!
The number of active filters displays next to the Filter list icon in the User Details table; if users are not displaying in the table, review this icon to confirm no filters are active.
Review event details
To review details related to a specific event:
Navigate to the desired event
Click View
Expand Sync Activity to review any warning or errors associated with the event
Expand Calendar Event Details to review details such as service type, date, staff member, etc.
NOTE: For repeating events, the date and time that displays is the first occurrence of the event.
