Objective

Booking shortcuts enable you to create a direct link to yours or another staff member’s calendar that is further refined by service, meeting method, and/or location. This minimizes the number of details a client needs to provide during the appointment scheduling process, making the process even more efficient and increasing overall customer satisfaction.

When is a good time to use a booking shortcut?

Booking shortcuts can be helpful at both an individual employee and a branch level. Following are two sample use cases for implementing booking shortcuts.

Simplify your clients’ scheduling experience

Create a booking shortcut with your staff name and location to include in your email signature. Your clients can then book an appointment with you directly, without needing to select a location or staff member as part of the scheduling process. If you offer more than once service, you can further simplify the scheduling process for your clients by including service-specific links in your signature. A client can then click the link for the appropriate service and only need to choose a date and time to meet with you.

Convenient campaigns

Your branch is promoting a new service for the month. Create a booking shortcut with the service and location. Then include this shortcut in a campaign email so that your clients need only click the link and select a time and staff member to learn more about the service.

Hot Tip!

If using a booking shortcut in a scenario like this, make the service invite-only at the time you create it. Then, it can ONLY be booked by using the shortcut, improving your ability to measure the success of your campaign communications.

A note on access and visibility

Admin users, managers, and staff roles can create booking shortcuts for any user. Regardless of which staff are included in the booking shortcut, the shortcut is only available to the user who created it.

Admin users can also view and edit booking shortcuts created by other admin users.
