Objective
Manage services to help staff understand the purpose of a customer/member’s visit, help them prepare to best meet their customer/member’s needs, and to create a quality scheduling experience.
NOTE: Services can also be added in bulk through the Import/Export workflow. For more information on how to do this, please refer to this article.
Steps
Add a service
Add a service so that customers/members can use the online booking experience to schedule appointments with staff.
From the navigation menu, click Services
Click +Add
Enter a name for the service
NOTE: This field can have up to a maximum of 255 characters
Select one or multiple meeting methods for the service
Complete the additional form fields, where applicable/desired
NOTE: Hover over the question icon to learn more about that field and how it is used within Coconut.
Click Save
Hot Tip!
Enable your clients to skip the appointment and complete their request fully online by adding a Faster Route option to services that do not require an appointment.
From the navigation menu, click Services
Navigate to the service you want to add a Faster Route option to
Click More
Enter the message you want to share with clients to encourage them to skip the appointment and complete their request online in the Faster Route Message field
Enter the URL for where clients can complete their request in the Faster Route URL field
Click Save
The Faster Route is added. Now, when clients begin to schedule an appointment for this service, they will be prompted to complete themselves online. If they would like to schedule an appointment, they will be redirected to the online booking process.
A client is encouraged to complete their service request without needing to book an appointment using a Faster Route message
Update a service
Update a service so that the services and related information available to customers/members through the online booking experience are accurate and remain current.
From the navigation menu, click Services
Navigate to the service you want to edit, and click More
Make your desired edits
Click Save
Archive/unarchive a service
Archive or unarchive a service so that customers/members using the online booking experience can only see services that are currently available.
Archive a service
From the navigation menu, click Services
Navigate to the service you want to archive, and click Archive
Click Yes
Unarchive a service
From the navigation menu, click Services
From the Services filters, click Archived
Navigate to the service you want to unarchive, and click Unarchive
Click Yes
