Objective

Review your daily schedule and facilitate appointments directly from the Dashboard.

Steps

Review your daily schedule

From Dashboard, you can quickly review a snapshot of your appointments and away/busy time slots for a specific day.

  1. From the date picker in the agenda pane, click the desired date

  2. Review your appointments for that date

    NOTE: Additional details for an appointment can be reviewed by clicking the appointment

  3. Review your away/busy time slots for that date

    NOTE: Away/busy time slots are read-only from Dashboard, but can be edited by accessing them from Schedule

Hot Tip!

If your organization uses Lobby, you can also check on whether anyone is waiting to be served directly from the agenda pane in Dashboard.

Facilitate an appointment

To facilitate an appointment directly from the dashboard:

  1. Click the appointment in the agenda pane

  2. Click Start to begin the appointment

  3. Click the Edit icon to add private notes as you facilitate the appointment

  4. Click Save to update

  5. Click the Questions tab to answer any private questions associated with the appointment

  6. Click Save to update

  7. Click Stop when you are finished meeting with the client

  8. Confirm you have added all your desired notes and answered all required questions

  9. Click Finish to complete the appointment

Another Hot Tip: Invite clients/members to book a follow-up!

Demonstrate quality customer service and strengthen your relationship with your client by inviting them to book a follow-up appointment directly from the appointment view in Dashboard.

To do this:

  1. From Dashboard, click the appointment

  2. From the appointment’s details, navigate to the client’s name

  3. Click Invite

  4. Select the service you want to invite the customer to book

  5. Click Invite

And another Hot Tip!

By default, the dashboard will display all appointments for the past three weeks that do not have a final status of No Show, Canceled, or Completed. Keep your dashboard neat and tidy by setting a recurring reminder for yourself to update any incomplete appointments. You can also edit the start and end times of a completed appointment to accurately reflect the time spent with a client by clicking the Edit icon next in the action bar.

A note on access and visibility

Dashboard is available for admin users, managers, and staff users.
