Objective
Ensure your profile settings stay up-to-date to ensure you can accurately be scheduled for appointments and your current details are shared with your organization.
Steps
Access your profile
From the top navigation menu, click the user icon
Click Edit Profile
Access your profile from the user menu
Manage your Basic Info
You can update your user details from the Basic Info tab.

Selecting French and/or Spanish as Supported Languages will only display this information during the client booking process if Additional Language Support is enabled at your organization
Modifying your Daily Limit will increase or decrease the number of time slots that will display to clients when booking appointments
Updating your preferred Time Format to 24 hour will update your Dashboard and Schedule to display using a 24 hour clock
Add a personal video call link and/or customized message in Virtual Meeting Information to provide all clients with specific details or instructions when attending an appointment with you
Change your password
You can change your Coconut password from within your profile by accessing the Change Password tab.
NOTE: Passwords must be a minimum of 8 characters and include numbers, upper case and lower case letters, and symbols.
Click Change Password
Enter your old password
Enter your desired new password
Re-enter this new password to confirm
Click Save
Review services
You can review your assigned services by accessing the Services tab. If flex time is enabled for a service, you can also modify the service duration based on your preferences.
Modify service durations, if available, to reflect the time required to complete them
Enable syncing
If your company uses Google™ Calendar or Microsoft® Outlook.com, you can enable either one-way or two-way sync between this and your Coconut calendar by accessing the Sync tab in your profile and following the instructions included within.
NOTE: If your company uses Microsoft® Outlook365 or Microsoft® Outlook for Enterprise, please have an account administrator contact your Coconut Software Customer Success Manager to inquire about integrating.
Customize notification settings
If you have location and service assignments, you can customize your notification settings by accessing the Notifications tab. Notifications can be customized per location and are available as audio and/or desktop notifications.
If enabled, you will receive notifications when a client arrives for an appointment. If your organization uses Lobby, you can also set notifications to alert you when a walk-in arrives.
A note on access and visibility
All staff members can access and edit their own profile, regardless of their role.
NOTE: While visible in your profile, meeting method selections can only be set by a manager or administrator through staff configuration.
Managers and Admins can set the Visibility of their own profiles to either Public, Invite-Only, or Private.
If visibility is set to private, that user will not be available for clients to book with through Online Booking. They can only be booked internally through Schedule.
If visibility is set to Invite-Only, that staff member can only be booked by a client using a booking link or internally through Schedule.
Managers and Admins can also update the visibility settings of other staff (managers for staff whom they support and admins for all users). This is done through Staff.
