Notifications

Ability to reorder content on the client confirmation email

Administrators now have the ability to reorder content within client confirmation emails. You can now decide where service instructions are placed within client confirmation emails. They can appear either above the appointment details or at the end of the content details section.

This enhancement ensures critical details are more prominent in the email notification, helping them prepare for their appointments.

To configure, navigate to: Notifications > Clients > Email Content in the Coconut settings menu.

Platform

New unified dashboard experience

The new Dashboard combines the Lobby Page and Dashboard Page into a single streamlined interface. Designed to simplify workflows and enhance usability, this update introduces several powerful features:

  1. Unified Dashboard Interface

    • Manage all engagements from one place, eliminating the need to toggle between pages.

  2. New Sidebar Navigation

    • Expandable Buckets: Organize engagements by client status (e.g., In Progress, Waiting, Checked In).

    • New Meeting Icons: Easily identify engagement types (Phone, Video, Walk-In).

    • Away and Busy Blocks: Streamline availability management.

  3. Enhanced Engagement Management

    • Manage walk-ins directly from the dashboard.

    • Perform actions like accepting, canceling, or completing engagements based on permissions.

  4. Informative Landing Page

    • A refreshed landing page provides guidance to help teams transition seamlessly.

  5. Opt-In Functionality

    • Staff can opt into the new dashboard and toggle back if needed. Full adoption begins February 26, 2025.

Updated labeling to signify that appointment notes are internal

The “Appointment Notes” field in the Contact Center booking flow has been renamed to Internal Notes to clarify that these notes are for staff use only. Additionally, placeholder text has been updated to: Click the pencil icon to add notes (for internal use only). Notes will not be shared with attendees.

Identification Badges for attendee search

In the Schedule booking flow, attendee search results now include badges to distinguish between staff and clients. This visual cue streamlines the selection process and reduces errors.

Integrations

Outlook: Updated event titles for improved clarity

We’ve adjusted Outlook event titles to prioritize the client name over the service name. Event titles now display the meeting method, followed by the client name and service name. Prior to this update, some events had the client name truncated, which this update helps prevent.
