Objective
Explores enable you to focus in on key metrics, exploring data based on the fields that matter most, further refining the data using a range of filters, and presenting the data using different visualizations.
Let's begin!
Leverage a pre-built Explore to get started drilling into your organization's data. The following pre-built Explores are available:
Staff Utilization
Review how utilized staff are across engagement types and for various time periods
NOTE: All appointment statuses except for Canceled are included in utilization calculations
Staff Assignment Overview
Dive into how staff are assigned at your organization, as well as uncover which staff - if any - are having sync issues with their calendars (if using an Exchange integration)
Engagements
Dig into appointment data for your organization by staff, location, service, or unassigned appointments
Outcome Analytics
Review engagement outcomes in relation to questions and answers asked either as part of the online booking process or during the engagement
Booking Shortcuts
Better understand how booking shortcuts are being used across your organization’s locations and service types
Booking Experience Satisfaction
Analyze various CSAT dimensions related to the booking experience to better understand customer needs
Refine Explores
Explores can be further refined, tailoring them to meet your organization's needs. Add dimensions and filters, change the visualization type, and more.
Add Dimensions
A dimension is a custom field that can be added to an Explore. Dimensions are helpful for tailoring Explores to include additional parameters that are important to your organization.
To add a dimension:
From your chosen pre-built Explore, click the field heading (Custom Fields, Clients, etc.) from the side menu
Click the dimension you want to add to the Explore
Click Run
Apply Filters and Visualizations
Filters enable you to redefine the time period for visualizing your data.
Modify a filter
From your chosen pre-built Explore, click Filters
Modify the current parameters to reflect the data you want to include in your Explore
Click + to add another filter parameter
Click X to remove a filter parameter
When ready, click Run
Add a filter
From the Data section of the Explore, click the gear icon for the column you want to add as a filter
Click Filter
Adjust the filter parameters to meet your needs
Click Run
Update a visualization type
Visualizations enable you to graphically represent the Explore’s data in a way that best meets your audience’s needs and your business objectives. To update the Visualization:
From the Visualization ribbon, click your preferred graph type
NOTE: Click the More Options (...) icon to select from additional options
Additional Actions and Options
Additional customization, sharing and navigation options are available from within each Explore.
Change Time Zone
To change the viewer’s time zone:
Click Time Zone
Make your selection
Click Run
Explore Actions
From Explore actions (⚙), you can take additional actions related to the Explore, such as saving or downloading it, sending the current results to yourself, or scheduling the send for a specific time or if a specific criterion is met.
Save an Explore
To save an Explore:
Click Explore actions (⚙)
Click Save
Click As a Look
Enter a title for the Look and, if desired, a description
Click Save
Schedule delivery of an Explore
Explores and Dashboards can be scheduled to be sent by email to your inbox at a frequency of your choosing. Smart alerts can also be created by scheduling the send if/when a specific criterion is met.
NOTE: To help maintain Coconut's security standards, Dashboards and Explores can only be scheduled to be delivered to yourself at the email address used to login to Coconut.
To schedule delivery of an Explore:
From your chosen pre-built Explore, click Explore actions (⚙)
Click Save and schedule
From the Save Look pop-up that displays, enter a title for your saved Explore
Click Save & View Look
Return to Explore Actions (⚙)
Click Schedule
Make your desired selections
To send only if a specific criterion is met, click Advanced options
From Send this schedule if, make your desired selection
When ready, click Save All
Personal Navigation
From the Open Folders icon, you can navigate to your personal Dashboard(s) and Look(s). Click Shared to navigate to the pre-built dashboards or the Advanced Analytics homescreen.
