What’s New in Coconut

Here is a list of additional updates to be released June 12th, 2019

  • Calendar events in your client’s personal calendar will now update when a staff member updates the event in Coconut and sends the client a notification. If a client declines a calendar invite, it will cancel the appointment in Coconut to ensure staff are notified that the appointment was canceled.

  • Desktop Notifications are here! Staff can now enable client Check-in notifications on their desktop and will receive alerts while working in other applications.

    • You will need to grant Coconut Software permission to send notifications.

    • Notification preferences can be managed in My Profile.

  • Lobby Management improvements

    • Drive traffic to your locations by showing them the current estimated wait time at each location online from the Client View. This will allow clients to see how long the estimated wait time is before coming in, ensuring they don’t waste their time waiting in your lobby.

    • Re-capture lobby abandons by prompting the walk-outs to book an appointment. When a staff member sets the lobby appointment to abandoned, an SMS notification with a booking link will be sent to the client.

  • A new Client View configuration is available to control the search radius used when clients are looking for locations. Set the same radius for all searches, or include a radius in the booking link for even more flexibility. Learn more
