Objective

Customize the look and feel of how Coconut displays to employees and customers/members to represent your organization’s brand.

Steps

Access customization options

  1. From the navigation menu, click Settings

  2. From Branding, click Client and Admin Views

Admin View

Customizing the Admin View updates how Coconut displays to employees (Admins, Managers, and Staff). To brand the Admin View:

  1. From Logo, do one of the following:

    • Drag and drop the header image onto the target

    • Click or select from your computer to choose the header image from a saved location

    • NOTE: Images can be no larger than 2MB

  2. From Small Logo, do one of the following:

    • Drag and drop the header image onto the target

    • Click or select from your computer to choose the header image from a saved location

    • NOTE: Images can be no larger than 2MB; the small logo is what displays when the navigation menu is collapsed

  3. Set the highlight color for the top navigation banner (this color will also be used for iconography within the app and the +New button in the navigation menu):

    • From Highlight Color, click the color bar

    • Enter the RGB values for the desired color

      • NOTE: To use HSL or HEX values, click the selector arrows that follow RGB and enter the corresponding values

The Highlight Color determines the color of the top navigation, the +New button, and iconography (Oceanscape green in this example); the logo is what displays in the navigation menu (if the navigation menu is collapsed, the small logo displays)

Client View

Customizing the Client View updates the branding elements that display to clients when engaging with your organization through the Client View.

NOTE: If your organization is using Lobby, Coconut uses the highlight and accent colors set in the Client View to determine whether black or white font is used in the kiosk web app (used by clients to join the line/add themselves to the queue).

To brand the Client View:

  1. From Logo, do one of the following:

    • Drag and drop the header image onto the target

    • Click or select from your computer to choose the header image from a saved location

    • NOTE: Images can be no larger than 2MB

  2. From Favicon, do one of the following:

    • Drag and drop the header image onto the target

    • Click or select from your computer to choose the header image from a saved location

    • NOTE: Images can be no larger than 2MB

  3. Select your desired font; this font will be used for all text displayed in the Client View

  4. From Font Weights, select your desired weights for Normal and Bold fonts from the corresponding dropdowns

  5. Set the highlight color for the top navigation banner:

    • From Highlight Color, click the color bar

    • Enter the RGB values for the desired color

      • NOTE: To use HSL or HEX values, click the selector arrows that follow RGB and enter the corresponding values

  6. Set the accent color; the accent color is used for clickable elements, location pins, and highlights in the Client View:

    • From Accent Color, click the color bar

    • Enter the RGB values for the desired color

      • NOTE: To use HSL or HEX values, click the selector arrows that follow RGB and enter the corresponding values

Font, font weights, and accent color impact various elements in the Client View, including the Book Appointment timeline, date/time options, and location pins; highlight color and logo impact the top-level display

A note on access and visibility

Admins can access Settings to brand the Admin and Client Views.
