Objective
Empower staff to set the duration on the services they provide based on their experience and expertise by enabling flex time on services.

Steps
Enable flex time
An admin must enable flex time for a service in order for staff to leverage it. To enable flex time:
From the navigation menu, click Services
Navigate to the service you want to add flex time to and click More
Ensure the checkbox for Flex Time is selected
Click Save
Set the duration of a service
With flex time enabled, staff can set the duration of a service by editing it in their profile.
Click the user icon
Click Edit Profile
Click Services
Select your preferred duration from the dropdown for the desired service
Click Save
A note on access and visibility
Admin users can enable flex time for a service.
Staff users can adjust the duration of a service if flex time is enabled for that service.
When the duration of a service is changed, the updated service length will be in place for all appointments booked from the client view, schedule, and call center with that staff member. The appointment duration sent in ICS files will also match the updated flex time duration.
