GSuite is not an option when I access Settings in Coconut; what’s up?

This is most often because the integration is not yet enabled for your organization. The GSuite integration is an add-on feature. Please reach out to your Customer Success contact to have this feature enabled for your organization.

The Coconut user’s email doesn’t exist in the GSuite group

Only Coconut users who are part of the GSuite directory group are synced as part of the integration. As a first step, confirm that the user’s email is included in the group. Once confirmed, update the integration in Coconut by accessing the integration in Settings.

Events

Why aren’t events syncing in either direction for a specific user?

This happens when the user’s email in Coconut is not the same as the user’s primary email in GSuite. Updating the user’s email in Coconut to reflect the primary email in GSuite should resolve this issue.

To update a user’s email address in Coconut:

  1. From the navigation menu, click Staff

  2. Navigate to the desired staff and click the more actions icon ()

  3. Click Edit

  4. Navigate to the email field and update with the user’s primary email address

  5. Click Save

This is most often because the event does not meet the requirements for syncing as part of the integration.

Uhoh, events aren’t syncing for any user!

If events are not syncing for any user, it indicates that the integration is not properly configured in GSuite. Please connect with your organization’s administrator for GSuite to ensure proper API configuration and integration setup.
